Riverside Arts Market: A Case Study
Riverside Arts Market (RAM): A case study
Tony Allegretti, who founded the popular First Wednesday Art Walk, has made it his mission to rejuvenate downtown and make Jacksonville a destination city. When Tony became Director of the Riverside Arts Market (RAM), a weekly Saturday arts and produce market under the Fuller Warren Bridge, he had just a few weeks before its early April opening to promote it. Tony will talk about the marketing strategies behind that effort, which resulted in some 40,000 visitors on opening day. He will also discuss the traditional, social and grassroots marketing he uses to draw visitors to the weekly market year-round.
